CHESTERFIELD HOME ADDITION IS LIFE CHANGING
As families outgrow their surroundings, they may consider moving into a larger house or simply adding to their existing home. And sometimes a Home Addition can be more than just looking for added space, it can be a life saver. We are excited to share our project story for one of your neighbors in Chesterfield.
HOME ADDITION CONTRACTOR INVITES YOU TO TAKE A TOUR
The main objective was to create a master suite addition with vaulted ceilings. And while we wish to feature the cosmetic appeal, it is important to address the mechanical aspects of the construction process too. For example, adding square footage to a home may require significant upgrades to the existing HVAC system. We implemented a ductless, mini-split-system with heat pumps for heating and cooling.
The planning stages are critical and we enjoy sharing some of these details to appreciate the work done before any construction begins. We worked with StudioZ Architecture Here we show the Design and Floor Plans. Initially the deck was the full width of the house. French doors were removed and a single exterior door was shifted. A 22×23 addition was added to first floor. The addition was erected on piers due to a sloped lot. The addition consists of primary suite, a full bathroom and a laundry room too. The original laundry room was located in the kitchen. Moving the laundry doubled the size of the kitchen pantry.

It is easy to feel our clients enjoyment with the plenty of space provided with the long vanity, quartz countertop.
There is plenty of space with this walk in closet and pocket door to keep the cosmetic appeal.
We show two different positions with the entry into primary suite off of the family room. The position of the main bedroom is behind the bathroom, closet and laundry that have solid core doors that create a quiet sanctuary.
The laundry room was large enough to add a computer desk on one side.
